للمركبات المزودة بأنظمة التحكم الإلكتروني (ETC) أو دواسة الوقود الإلكترونية (Drive by Wire)، يوصَّل هذا الجهاز بالموصل الأصلي (OE) الموجود خلف دواسة الوقود. التركيب بسيط ولا يتطلب قطع أي أسلاك أو التدخل في إلكترونيات السيارة. لا يؤثر على الأنظمة الأخرى مثل الحقن الإلكتروني وABS وغيرها. يمكن التبديل بين أوضاع التسارع الرئيسية الثلاثة بالضغط على الزر الرئيسي.
عندما يكون ضوء LED مطفأً، يكون Sprint Booster معطلًا وتعمل السيارة بإعدادات المصنع. في الوضع الرياضي (Sport Mode) يكون ضوء LED أخضر، وتتحسن استجابة دواسة الوقود بنسبة تصل إلى 30%. ومع ضوء LED الأحمر، يكون Sprint Booster في وضع السباق (Race Mode) ويحسن الاستجابة بنسبة تصل إلى 60%. يأتي كل وضع تسارع مع تسعة برامج.
اختر 1-9 في وضع SPORT و1-9 في وضع RACE، حيث '1' هو البرنامج الأقل حدة و'9' الأكثر حدة. يمكن تغيير برامج التسارع باستخدام زري الأسهم أعلى الجهاز. باختيار برنامج التسارع المطلوب في كل وضع، يمكن للسائق ضبط كل وضع بدقة وفق أسلوب قيادته (مثلًا اختيار SPORT 9 وRACE 5).
يحد وضع Valet من تسارع المركبة بنسبة 55% أو 65% أو 75% (يأتي بثلاثة مستويات قابلة للاختيار)، ويُفعَّل ويُلغى برمز PIN من ثلاثة أرقام. ومع الحد من التسارع سينخفض أداء المركبة بشكل كبير. يوفر وضع Pedal Lock حماية إضافية ضد الاستخدام غير المصرح به للمركبة، إذ يمكن للسائق تعطيل قدرة المركبة على التسارع عبر رمز PIN من 3 أرقام.
يمكن الوصول إلى قائمة وضعي Valet وPedal Lock عندما تكون المركبة متوقفة وSprint Booster مطفأً، وذلك بالضغط على زري الأسهم معًا. بالإضافة إلى زيادة استجابة دواسة الوقود لتنزيل التروس بسهولة وتجاوز أكثر أمانًا، هناك أيضًا تحسن ملحوظ في تبديل التروس (في المركبات المزودة بناقل حركة أوتوماتيكي).
For vehicles with electronic control (ETC) systems, or drive by wire, this device plugs into the OE connector located behind the accelerator pedal. It's a simple installation, requiring no cutting of any wires or interference of the automobile's electronics. It does not affect other systems such as electronic injection, ABS, etc.
The three main acceleration modes can be switched by pressing the main button. When the LED is off, the Sprint Booster is deactivated, and the car has factory settings. In Sport Mode, the LED is green, and throttle response is improved by up to 30%. With the red colored LED, the Sprint Booster is in Race Mode, and it improves response by up to 60%.
Each acceleration mode comes with nine programs. Select 1-9 in SPORT mode and 1-9 in RACE mode, with '1' being the least aggressive program and '9' the most aggressive. The acceleration programs can be changed using the two arrow buttons on the top of the device.
By selecting the desired acceleration program in each mode, the driver can fine-tune each mode per their driving style (e.g. select SPORT 9 & RACE 5). Valet mode limits the acceleration of the vehicle by 55%, 65%, or 75% (comes in three selectable levels). It is activated and deactivated with a three-digit PIN.
By limiting the acceleration, there will be a significant reduction in the vehicle's performance. The Pedal Lock mode provides extra protection against unauthorized vehicle use. The driver can deactivate the acceleration ability of the vehicle through a 3 digit PIN.
The menu for Valet and Pedal Lock mode is accessed when the vehicle is stationary and the Sprint Booster is off, by pressing the two arrow buttons simultaneously. In addition to increased throttle response for effortless downshifts and safer overtaking, there is also a noticeable improvement to the transmission’s shifts (on vehicle’s equipped with automatic transmissions).
