طوّرت BORLA تقنية عادم ثورية تمكّن مهندسينا من تحقيق تحكم غير مسبوق خاص بكل مركبة في النغمة الصوتية للعادم عبر نطاق RPM بالكامل، مع الاحتفاظ بنسبة 100% من قدرات زيادة القوة في تصميم القلب المتعدد (Multicore) الحاصل على براءة اختراع من BORLA.
تُسمى ATAK (Acoustically-Tuned Applied Kinetics)، وتنتج هذه التقنية أعلى مستويات dB (ديسيبل) المتاحة في تشكيلة BORLA القانونية للشوارع، وهي مصممة لعشاق الأداء العالي الذين يفضلون نغمات العادم على أنظمة الصوت. يركز ATAK على رفع مستوى الصوت مع الحفاظ على وضوحه، وتجنب التشويه الموجود عادةً في أنظمة العادم الأعلى صوتًا.
مع ATAK، يُضبط خرج الصوت مثل معادل الصوت الرسومي (Graphic Equalizer) لتشكيل الموجات الصوتية وتركيزها للحصول على أفضل خرج بصوت مرتفع. يبدأ تطوير كل نظام ATAK بدراسة مكثفة للخصائص الصوتية لكل مركبة. تعتمد التقنية على خصائص مضبوطة حسب الطلب لقلوب الشكمان الداخلية، والتي تُعاير لكل مركبة على حدة لتقديم الصوت الأكثر تميزًا دون أي طنين داخل المركبة.

BORLA® has developed a revolutionary exhaust technology that enables our engineers to deliver unprecedented vehicle-specific control over the acoustical note of an exhaust throughout the RPM range, while retaining 100% of the power-adding capabilities of BORLA®'s patented multicore design.
Called ATAK® (Acoustically-Tuned Applied Kinetics), this technology produces the highest available dB (decibel) levels in the BORLA® street-legal lineup, and is designed for high-performance purists who prefer exhaust notes over their stereos. The focus of ATAK® is to pump the volume while retaining clarity of sound, avoiding distortion typically found in louder exhausts.
With ATAK®, the sound output is tuned like a graphic equalizer to shape and focus sound waves for optimum high-volume output. The development of each ATAK® system begins with extensive study of each vehicle's acoustical properties.
The technology is based on custom-tuned attributes of the internal muffler cores, which are calibrated on a vehicle-by-vehicle basis to deliver the most desirable sound with no drone insdie the vehicle. This system will have a very aggressive sound on Shelby GT 500 vehicles.
Like all BORLA® exhaust products, this 2.5" diameter Cat-Back™ system is handmade in the USA by master craftspeople and features premium, high-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel construction, ultra-smooth mandrel bent piping, single 4" round bright chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips on each muffler assembly, and the BORLA® Million-Mile Warranty.
