مجرى التجميع (Accumulator Groove): مجرى خاص بين الشنبر العلوي والشنبر الثاني يوفر حجماً إضافياً لغازات التسرب (Blow-by). يساعد ذلك على تقليل الضغط بين الشنابر، مما يحسّن إحكام الشنبر العلوي ويقلل من اهتزاز الشنابر عند ضغوط السلندر العالية.
منافذ غاز جانبية: تقوم هذه العملية بتفريز شقوق في أعلى مجرى الشنبر العلوي وتوفر مساراً لضغط الاحتراق للوصول خلف الشنبر العلوي، مما يؤدي إلى زيادة إحكام الشنابر، وهي الأكثر شيوعاً في سباقات المضمار الدائري.
تقليل التلامس (Contact Reduction): يقلل مساحة التلامس مع جدار السلندر عندما "يتأرجح" البستم. كما يعمل تقليل التلامس على إعاقة انتقال اللهب إلى منطقة الفراغات الضيقة (Crevice)، مما يؤدي إلى تقليل الصفع (Detonation).
ملاءمة المسمار (Pin Fit): يُصقل تجويف المسمار بدقة للوصول إلى خلوص دقيق للمسمار. يتراوح الخلوص عادةً من .0003 إلى .0010 بين مسمار البستم وتجويف المسمار.

Accumulator Groove, Smooth Crown Finish, Combo 2, Contact Reduction, Double Pin Oilers, Pin Fit, 3D Undercrown Milling, and Lateral Gas Ports. JE Auto Pistons are engineered, forged and machined 100% in the USA
Accumulator Groove: A specialty groove between the top and second ring provides added volume for blow-by gases. This helps reduce pressure between the rings, improving top ring seal and minimizing ring flutter at high cylinder pressures.
Lateral Gas Ports: This process mills slots into the top of the top ring groove and provides a pathway for combustion pressure to get behind the top ring. Resulting in increased ring seal and is most common in circle track applications.
Contact Reduction: Reduce the amount of contact area against the cylinder wall when the piston "Rocks over". Contact reduction also serves to disrupt the flame travel into the crevice area causing a reduction in detonation.
Pin Fit: The pin bore is precision honed to attain an exact pin clearance. Clearances typically range from .0003 to .0010 between the wrist pin and pin bore.
