مجرى التجميع (Accumulator Groove): مجرى خاص بين الشنبر العلوي والشنبر الثاني يوفر حجماً إضافياً لغازات التسرب (Blow-by). يساعد ذلك على تقليل الضغط بين الشنابر، مما يحسّن إحكام الشنبر العلوي ويقلل من اهتزاز الشنابر عند ضغوط السلندر العالية.
منافذ غاز جانبية: تقوم هذه العملية بتفريز شقوق في أعلى مجرى الشنبر العلوي وتوفر مساراً لضغط الاحتراق للوصول خلف الشنبر العلوي، مما يؤدي إلى زيادة إحكام الشنابر، وهي الأكثر شيوعاً في سباقات المضمار الدائري.
منافذ غاز عمودية (Vertical Gas Ports): منافذ غاز مشغولة آلياً توجّه ضغط الاحتراق خلف الشنبر العلوي لتحسين إحكام السلندر وتقليل تسرب الغازات (Blow-by) تحت الأحمال العالية. شائعة في سباقات التسارع (Drag) حيث يكون أقصى إحكام للشنابر أمراً بالغ الأهمية.
ملاءمة المسمار (Pin Fit): يُصقل تجويف المسمار بدقة للوصول إلى خلوص دقيق للمسمار. يتراوح الخلوص عادةً من .0003 إلى .0010 بين مسمار البستم وتجويف المسمار.

Accumulator Groove, Smooth Crown Finish, Double Pin Oilers, Pin Fit, Lateral Gas Ports, and Vertical Gas Ports. JE Auto Pistons are engineered, forged and machined 100% in the USA
Accumulator Groove: A specialty groove between the top and second ring provides added volume for blow-by gases. This helps reduce pressure between the rings, improving top ring seal and minimizing ring flutter at high cylinder pressures.
Lateral Gas Ports: This process mills slots into the top of the top ring groove and provides a pathway for combustion pressure to get behind the top ring. Resulting in increased ring seal and is most common in circle track applications.
Vertical Gas Ports: Machined gas ports channel combustion pressure behind the top ring for improved cylinder sealing and reduced blow-by under high load. Common in drag racing applications where maximum ring seal is critical.
Pin Fit: The pin bore is precision honed to attain an exact pin clearance. Clearances typically range from .0003 to .0010 between the wrist pin and pin bore.
