وباتباع فلسفة ICON الهندسية الشاملة، بذل فريق البحث والتطوير لدينا جهداً استثنائياً لتطوير عدة مراحل من أنظمة التعليق الكاملة التي توفر مستويات متفاوتة من قابلية التعديل والقدرة والأداء العام للمركبة. يتكون نظام Stage 2 من ICON من مساعدات أمامية وخلفية V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series بخزان منفصل (Remote Reservoir)، ومقصات علوية Delta Joint أنبوبية.
وتُعد المساعدات 2.5" المعايرة خصيصاً لكل مركبة من ICON مفتاح الوصول إلى أفضل جودة ركوب والحصول على الراحة المطلوبة مع قدرة العمل لفئة 3/4 و1 طن. وتضمن الخزانات المنفصلة أفضل أداء عبر إطالة مدة التخميد الثابت بغض النظر عن الظروف، مع الحفاظ على درجة حرارة تشغيل أبرد للمساعدات أثناء الاستخدام الشاق.
بالإضافة إلى ذلك، تضيف المقصات العلوية البيليت (Billet) من ICON القوة والمتانة ومجالاً إضافياً لتعديل زاويتي الكاستر والكامبر، وعند استخدامها مع مساعدات ذات شوط ممتد تزيد شوط العجلة بمقدار 2" مقارنةً بتجهيز OEM. وسواء كنت تقود إلى موقع البناء أو على المسارات الوعرة نحو مكانك المفضل لقيادة الدراجات الترابية، تريدك ICON أن تصل براحة تامة تماماً كما في طريقك إلى العمل.
يتميز هذا النظام بمقصات علوية (Control Arm) مزودة بمفصل Delta Joint الحاصل على براءة اختراع من ICON. Delta Joint هو كرة مقص (Ball Joint) شديدة التحمل بزاوية حركة عالية، يجمع بين متانة كرة المقص وخصائص أداء الـ Uniball التقليدي.
ورغم أن الـ Uniball المعتمد كمعيار في الصناعة يؤدي عملاً ممتازاً في السماح لمقصات السيارة بالحركة بأقل قدر من التقييد، إلا أن به نقطة ضعف أساسية تجعله دون المستوى المطلوب في الاستخدام اليومي، وهي تعرّضه للعوامل الخارجية.
يتميز Delta Joint بغلاف مطلي بالزنك يوفر الطبقة الأولى من مقاومة التآكل، بينما يمنع مانع تسريب الشحم المتين العناصر الضارة من الوصول إلى الأجزاء الداخلية للمفصل. ويزيد البناء المعدني على المعدني والتصميم القابل للتشحيم من عمر Delta Joint، مع ضمان تشغيل خالٍ من الضوضاء في الوقت نفسه.
وما يجعل Delta Joint فريداً هو أنه يمنح مقصات ICON العلوية أفضل ما في العالمين، بمزايا تجعله أكثر متانة من الـ Uniball، وقادراً في الوقت نفسه على زاوية حركة أكبر من كرة المقص التقليدية.
ملاحظة فنية: قد يتسبب مشوار النزول الإضافي الذي يوفره نظام تعليق ICON في مشاكل تلامس بين عمود التوازن وواقي الرذاذ الأصلي عند اقتراب التعليق من التمدد الكامل. يُنصح بطقم واقي الرذاذ من ICON Vehicle Dynamics لـ GM HD 2020 وما بعده، رقم القطعة 77202.

Tougher, stronger and more capable - That's the motto that General Motors used when debuting the all-new fleet of heavy-duty trucks in 2020. ICON Vehicle Dynamics stayed true to GM engineers' thought process with the development of our suspension systems for the 2020-2026 GM HD 2500/3500 trucks.
Using ICON's holistic engineering philosophy, our R&D team went above and beyond to develop several stages of complete suspension systems that provide varying levels of adjustability, capability, and overall vehicle performance. ICON's Stage 2 system is comprised of V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series remote reservoir front and rear shocks, and tubular Delta Joint upper control arms.
The ICON vehicle specific tuned 2.5" shocks are the key to attaining optimum ride quality and getting that desired comfort with the 3/4 & 1-ton working capability. Remote reservoirs ensure optimum performance by increasing the duration of consistent damping regardless of situation, keeping the shocks at a cooler operating temperature during heavy use.
Additionally, ICON billet upper control arms add strength, durability, additional caster and camber adjustment, and when paired with extended travel shocks increases wheel travel 2" over the OEM configuration. While driving the construction site or trails to your favorite dirt bike location, ICON wants you to get there in comfort just like your drive to work.
This system features upper control arms with ICON's patented Delta Joint. The Delta Joint is a heavy-duty high angle ball joint that combines the durability of a ball joint with the performance characteristics of a traditional uniball.
While the industry standard uniball does a great job of allowing the control arms of a vehicle to articulate with little bind, they do have an inherent weakness that leaves more to be desired when used in a daily driven application - exposure to the elements.
The Delta Joint features a zinc plated housing providing the first layer of corrosion resistance, while a tough grease seal keeps potentially harmful elements out of the inner workings of the joint. Metal on metal construction and a greaseable design increase the longevity of the Delta Joint while at the same time allowing for noise-free operation.
What makes the Delta Joint unique is that it brings the best of both worlds to ICON upper control arms with features that make it more robust than a uniball, and at the same time capable of greater angularity than a typical ball joint.
TECH NOTE: The additional down travel provided by an ICON Suspension System can cause clearance issues between the sway bar and the stock splash guard as the suspension approaches full extension. ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2020-UP GM HD Splash Guard Kit, part number 77202 recommended.
