صُممت أنظمة التعليق من ICON Vehicle Dynamics لـ Toyota Tacoma مع مراعاة أقصى أداء وتلبية احتياجات السائق المحترف. ينصبّ التركيز الأساسي لمهندسي ICON على زيادة مشوار العجلات وقدرة التخميد، مما ينعكس على تحكم ممتاز بالمركبة وجودة قيادة عالية على الطرق المعبدة وخارجها.
يتضمن نظام Stage 4 مساعدات كويل أوفر مقاس 2.5” معايرة خصيصاً للمركبة، مزودة بمشوار ممتد وخزان خارجي (Remote Reservoir) لخصائص تبريد استثنائية، وسوست (Coil Springs) من تصميم مهندسي ICON تمنح إحساس قيادة متفوقاً طوال مدى المشوار. كما أن هذه الكويل أوفرات قابلة لتعديل الارتفاع بمدى 0-3”، مما يتيح تركيب جنوط وإطارات أكبر وأكثر شراسة.

ورغم أن الـ Uniball المعتمد كمعيار في الصناعة يؤدي عملاً ممتازاً في السماح لمقصات السيارة بالحركة بأقل قدر من التقييد، إلا أن به نقطة ضعف أساسية تجعله دون المستوى المطلوب في الاستخدام اليومي، وهي تعرّضه للعوامل الخارجية.
يتميز Delta Joint بغلاف مطلي بالزنك يوفر الطبقة الأولى من مقاومة التآكل، بينما يمنع مانع تسريب الشحم المتين العناصر الضارة من الوصول إلى الأجزاء الداخلية للمفصل. ويزيد البناء المعدني على المعدني والتصميم القابل للتشحيم من عمر Delta Joint، مع ضمان تشغيل خالٍ من الضوضاء في الوقت نفسه.

95.5-04 TACOMA 0-3" STAGE 4 SUSPENSION SYSTEM W TUBULAR UCA
ICON Vehicle Dynamics Toyota Tacoma suspension systems are designed with maximum performance and the serious driver in mind. ICON engineers’ primary focus is to increase wheel travel and damping ability, which translates into outstanding vehicle control and ride quality both on and off-road.
The Stage 4 system includes vehicle-specific tuned 2.5” coilover shocks featuring extended travel & remote reservoir for exceptional cooling properties and ICON-engineered coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” through the range of travel. These coilovers are also height adjustable from 0-3” allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations.
This Stage 4 kit also includes uniball tubular upper control arms, designed to give you extra droop with the extended travel coilovers. The included rear Add-A-Leaf Kit Installs in place of the factory overload leaves and effectively lowers the rear spring rate by approximately 10% for a more compliant ride while also providing 1.5" of rear lift over stock.
ICON 2.0 Aluminum Series remote reservoir rear shocks utilize a vehicle-specific valving that balances the performance of the truck from front to rear. This system features tubular steel upper control arms with ICON's patented Delta Joint. The Delta Joint is a heavy duty high angle ball joint that combines the durability of a ball joint with the performance characteristics of a traditional uniball.
While the industry standard uniball does a great job of allowing the control arms of a vehicle to articulate with little bind, they do have an inherent weakness that leaves more to be desired when used in a daily driven application - exposure to the elements.
The Delta Joint features a zinc plated housing providing the first layer of corrosion resistance, while a tough grease seal keeps potentially harmful elements out of the inner workings of the joint. Metal on metal construction and a greasable design increase the longevity of the Delta Joint while at the same time allowing for noise-free operation.
What makes the Delta Joint unique is that it brings the best of both worlds to ICON upper control arms with features that make it more robust than a uniball, and at the same time capable of greater angularity than a typical ball joint.
