يقدم نظام التعليق Stage 8 من ICON لـ Toyota 4Runner 2003-2009 / FJ Cruiser 2007-2009 أقصى مستوى من الأداء للسيارة على الطرق المعبدة والوعرة.

يتضمن هذا النظام جميع المكونات الموجودة في إعداد Stage 7 – طقم مقصات علوية Delta Joint من ألمنيوم بيليت (Billet) من ICON، وكويل أوفر أمامي 2.5 Series Remote Reservoir مع CDCV، وسوست (Coil Springs) خلفية مقاس 2”، وعمود Track Bar خلفي قابل للضبط، وطقم أذرع وصل خلفية علوية وسفلية من ألمنيوم بيليت (Billet) - مع إضافة مساعدات خلفية 2.5 Aluminum Series Omega Bypass من ICON.

تتيح صمامات الـ Bypass سهلة الضبط للمستخدم تعديل تخميد الانضغاط والارتداد للحصول على جودة قيادة مثالية على جميع أنواع التضاريس ومختلف أحمال السيارة. يتيح تصميم الخزان المنفصل (Remote Reservoir) زيادة حجم زيت المساعد وتحسين التبريد، بحيث يتمكن الجزء الخلفي من السيارة من العمل بجهد أكبر لفترات أطول دون حدوث "تراجع في الأداء" (Fade) ملحوظ.

كما تتميز المساعدات الخلفية 2.5 Aluminum Series Remote Reservoir بتقنية "Bump Zone" من ICON التي تزيد بشكل كبير من قدرة التخميد في آخر 2” من شوط الانضغاط، مما يمنع الإحساس بالارتطام القاسي عند نهاية الشوط (Bottom-out) ويمنح السيارة جودة قيادة أكثر تحكماً على مختلف التضاريس.

أذرع الوصل المصنوعة من ألمنيوم بيليت (Billet) من ICON أقوى بكثير من القطع الأصلية (OE)، وتتميز بجلبة ثنائية المرحلة قابلة للتشحيم، ويمكن ضبطها للحصول على زاوية البنيون (Pinion) المثلى. وفوق كل ذلك، صُممت هذه الأذرع لتوفير هندسة صحيحة للتوجيه أثناء الميلان (Roll Steer) للحصول على أفضل تحكم ممكن على الطرق المعبدة والوعرة.

يتميز هذا النظام بمقصات علوية (Control Arm) مزودة بمفصل Delta Joint الحاصل على براءة اختراع من ICON. Delta Joint هو كرة مقص (Ball Joint) شديدة التحمل بزاوية حركة عالية، يجمع بين متانة كرة المقص وخصائص أداء الـ Uniball التقليدي.

ورغم أن الـ Uniball المعتمد كمعيار في الصناعة يؤدي عملاً ممتازاً في السماح لمقصات السيارة بالحركة بأقل قدر من التقييد، إلا أن به نقطة ضعف أساسية تجعله دون المستوى المطلوب في الاستخدام اليومي، وهي تعرّضه للعوامل الخارجية.

يتميز Delta Joint بغلاف مطلي بالزنك يوفر الطبقة الأولى من مقاومة التآكل، بينما يمنع مانع تسريب الشحم المتين العناصر الضارة من الوصول إلى الأجزاء الداخلية للمفصل. ويزيد البناء المعدني على المعدني والتصميم القابل للتشحيم من عمر Delta Joint، مع ضمان تشغيل خالٍ من الضوضاء في الوقت نفسه.

وما يجعل Delta Joint فريداً هو أنه يمنح مقصات ICON العلوية أفضل ما في العالمين، بمزايا تجعله أكثر متانة من الـ Uniball، وقادراً في الوقت نفسه على زاوية حركة أكبر من كرة المقص التقليدية.

03-09 4RUNNER/FJ 0-3.5" STAGE 8 SUSPENSION SYSTEM W BILLET UCA

ICON’s 2003-2009 Toyota 4Runner/2007-2009 FJ Cruiser Stage 8 suspension system provides the ultimate level of on and off-road performance of the vehicle.

This system includes all of the components featured in the Stage 7 setup – ICON billet aluminum Delta Joint upper control arm kit, 2.5 Series Remote Reservoir front coilovers with CDCV, 2” rear coil springs, adjustable rear track bar, and a billet aluminum rear upper and lower link arm kit - but sees the addition of ICON's 2.5 Aluminum Series Omega Bypass rear shocks.

The easy-to-adjust bypass valves allow for end-user compression and rebound damping changes to provide optimal ride quality across all types of terrain and vehicle cargo configurations. The remote reservoir design allows for increased shock oil volume and enhanced cooling so that the rear of the vehicle can work harder for longer durations without noticeable “fade” occurring.

The 2.5 Aluminum Series Remote Reservoir rear shocks also feature ICON’s “Bump Zone” technology which significantly increases damping ability in the last 2” of compression travel, preventing harsh bottom-out sensation and giving the vehicle a much more controlled ride quality over varying terrain.

ICON's billet aluminum links are much stronger than the OE units, feature a greaseable dual stage bushing, and can be adjusted for optimal pinion angle. On top of it all, these links have been designed to provide correct roll steer geometry for the best possible handling on and off-road.

This system features upper control arms with ICON's patented Delta Joint. The Delta Joint is a heavy-duty high angle ball joint that combines the durability of a ball joint with the performance characteristics of a traditional uniball.

While the industry standard uniball does a great job of allowing the control arms of a vehicle to articulate with little bind, they do have an inherent weakness that leaves more to be desired when used in a daily driven application - exposure to the elements.

The Delta Joint features a zinc plated housing providing the first layer of corrosion resistance, while a tough grease seal keeps potentially harmful elements out of the inner workings of the joint. Metal on metal construction and a greaseable design increase the longevity of the Delta Joint while at the same time allowing for noise-free operation.

What makes the Delta Joint unique is that it brings the best of both worlds to ICON upper control arms with features that make it more robust than a uniball, and at the same time capable of greater angularity than a typical ball joint.
