للاستفادة الكاملة من منتجات ICON الحالية لسيارة F150 Raptor 2017-2020، قرر مهندسو ICON الاستغناء عن الريش الأصلية (OE) وتطوير بديل يعالج بعض المشكلات التي ظهرت خلال مرحلة البحث والتطوير. والنتيجة حزمة ريش (Leaf Pack) متعددة المعدلات قابلة للتعديل من قِبل المستخدم، تقدم تحسناً كبيراً في الأداء لكل إعداد تقريباً يمكن تخيله لسيارة Raptor.
ولتحسين جودة قيادة الشاحنة واكتساب مشوار تدلٍّ (Droop) إضافي، صُمم معدل الريش ليكون أخف قليلاً من الأصلي الذي تبيّن أنه يميل إلى القساوة على التضاريس الصغيرة والمتقطعة. وبينما سيرحب معظم ملاك Raptor بتحسن جودة القيادة هذا، هناك من جهّزوا شاحناتهم بأوزان كبيرة ويحتاجون إلى قدرة تحميل أعلى.
وإدراكاً لذلك، صمم مهندسو ICON حزمة الريش مع ريشة إضافية (مرفقة مع الطقم) يمكن استبدالها أو إضافتها إلى الحزمة، لتمنح زيادة في معدل الريش بنسبة 20% أو 40% تناسب السيارات الأثقل.
تُعد Ford Raptor شاحنة ذات قدرات استثنائية استحوذت على اهتمام مجتمع الطرق الوعرة خلال السنوات القليلة الماضية. ومنذ إطلاق Raptor، دفع مهندسو ICON Vehicle Dynamics هذه السيارة إلى أقصى حدودها لتطوير أكثر مكونات التعليق تطوراً في السوق.
من الصحاري القاسية في الجنوب الغربي الأمريكي، إلى الثلوج العميقة في شبه الجزيرة العليا بولاية Michigan، إلى المسارات الحرجية في الساحل الشرقي، خضعت أنظمة تعليق ICON للاختبار وأدّت أداءً لا تشوبه شائبة.
ولأن ICON لا تكتفي بما هو جيد، فإنها تسعى مرة أخرى لرفع مستوى أداء Raptor بإطلاق ريش (Leaf Spring) متعددة المعدلات تمثل أحدث مكوّن في نظام التعليق الكامل من ICON لـ Raptor الجيل الثاني (Gen 2).
تضيف ميزات مثل حشوات الأطراف وفواصل الريش إلى راحة الركوب، بينما تزيد عين الريشة الأمامية الملفوفة بلفّة عسكرية ثلاثية والخلفية الملفوفة جزئياً من متانة وقوة الريش. وأُضيفت ريشة ارتداد (Rebound Leaf) لتقليل التواء الأكس (Axle Wrap) في Raptor، وهي مشكلة أخرى اكتُشفت خلال اختبارات ICON المكثفة.
تجتمع كل هذه الميزات لتمنحك قيادة أنعم بفارق كبير على المسارات الوعرة والطرق الترابية وحتى في المواقف. سواء كان إطاراً احتياطياً أو حاملاً خلفياً (Chase Rack) أو خيمة سقف أو غير ذلك، فإن ريش ICON هذه هي الخيار المثالي لسيارات Ford F150 Raptor 2017-2020 الساعية لتحسين جودة الركوب والأداء بحل موثوق ومجرّب يُركب بالبراغي.
توسيعاً لتشكيلة المنتجات، اعتُمدت حزم الريش متعددة المعدلات هذه أيضاً للتركيب على جميع فئات Ford F-150 2021-2026 باستثناء Raptor مع مساعدات خلفية محددة من ICON 2.5 Aluminum Series، لتوفر جودة قيادة محسّنة وزيادة في مدى حركة العجلات الخلفية وتقليل التواء الأكسل (Axle Wrap) مع الاستغناء عن البلوكات الخلفية الأصلية من المصنع.
معدلات السوست وارتفاعات الرفع القابلة للتخصيص تجعلها خياراً رائعاً للسيارات ذات ارتفاعات الرفع الأعلى أو التجهيزات ذات الوزن الثابت الأكبر في الخلف. كما أن تركيبها مع شاكلات التنزيل (Lowering Shackles) مقاس 1” من ICON يتيح ضبطاً دقيقاً لارتفاع مؤخرة الشاحنة وملاءمتها لمجموعة واسعة من أنظمة التعليق.
ملاحظة التطبيق #687: غير متوافق مع بعض علاقات الريش (Shackles) التجارية (Aftermarket). يُنصح بالعلاقات الأصلية أو علاقات التنزيل 1" من ICON. يُنصح بعلاقات التنزيل ICON 1" Lowering Shackles رقم 91001 لمعظم تطبيقات F-150 2021-2024 ما لم تكن هناك حاجة لارتفاعات رفع أعلى.
ملاحظة التطبيق #685: متوافق مع المساعدات الأصلية من المصنع في F-150 Raptor 2017-2020. تتطلب F-150 2021-2026 مساعدات خلفية من ICON رقم 97721P أو 97721CP أو 97721EP.

To fully take advantage of ICON’s current 2017-2020 F150 Raptor offerings, ICON engineers decided to scrap the OE leaf springs and develop a replacement that addressed a couple issues found in the R&D process. The result is a user-adjustable multi-rate leaf pack that offers a major performance gain for almost every Raptor setup imaginable.
To increase the ride quality of the truck and gain additional droop travel, the spring rate was designed to be slightly lighter than factory, which was found to be on the stiff side for smaller, choppier terrain.
While most Raptor owners will embrace the improved ride quality this provides, there are those who have outfitted their trucks with a significant amount of weight and require more load carrying capability.
Understanding this, ICON engineers designed the leaf pack with an additional leaf (included with kit) that can be exchanged or added to the pack, yielding an additional 20% or 40% spring rate that will work well for heavier vehicles.
The Ford Raptor is an extremely capable truck that has captured the attention of the off-road community over the past few years. Since the Raptor’s release ICON Vehicle Dynamics’ engineers have pushed this vehicle to extremes to develop the most sophisticated suspension components on the market.
From the brutal deserts of the Southwest, to the deep snow of Michigan’s U.P., to the wooded trails of the East coast ICON suspension systems have been put to the test and performed flawlessly.
Unable to leave “well-enough” alone, ICON is aiming to once again raise the bar in Raptor performance with the release of a multi-rate leaf spring that represents the latest component in the ICON complete suspension system for the Gen 2 Raptor.
Features like tip inserts and leaf separators add to ride comfort, while a triple military wrapped front and rear half wrapped eyelet increases durability and strength of the leaf spring. A rebound leaf was added to reduce the axle wrap of the Raptor, which was another issue that has been found through ICON’s extensive testing.
These features all combine for a ride that is night and day smoother on choppy trails, dirt roads, and even in the parking lot. No matter if it’s a spare tire, chase rack, a roof top tent, or more this ICON leaf spring is the perfect option for 2017-2020 Ford F150 Raptors looking to improve the ride quality and performance with a reliable and proven bolt-on solution.
Further expanding the product line up, these multi-rate leaf packs are also approved for fitment on all 2021-2026 Ford F-150 submodels besides Raptor with specific ICON 2.5 Aluminum Series rear shock absorbers, offering improved ride quality, increased rear wheel travel, and reduced axle wrap with the elimination of the factory rear blocks.
Their customizable spring rates and lift heights makes for a great option for vehicles with taller lift heights or builds with increased static weight in the rear. Pairing them with the ICON 1” lowering shackles also allows for fine tuning of the truck’s rear ride height and fitment on a wide range of suspension setups.
