صُممت مساعدات ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series وصُنعت لتمنح سيارتك أداءً استثنائياً على الطرق الوعرة وقيادة سلسة على الطرق المعبدة. تمت تهيئة هذه المساعدات خصيصاً لكل تطبيق من حيث الطول وضبط التخميد. ومثل جميع مساعدات ICON، فإن مساعدات V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series قابلة لإعادة البناء بنسبة 100% وقابلة لإعادة ضبط الصمامات بنسبة 100%.
في تطبيقات الخزان الملحق (Piggyback) وبعض تطبيقات الخزان المنفصل (Remote Reservoir)، تستخدم ICON بشكل فريد مشعباً (Manifold) من ألمنيوم بيليت (Billet) 6061 على بُعد بضع بوصات أسفل الغطاء العلوي للمساعد، مما يُنشئ منطقة ارتداد داخلية (Bump Zone) توفر عند استخدامها قوة تخميد إضافية بنسبة 20%.
تساعد هذه القوة الإضافية على منع الارتطام القاسي في نهاية الشوط (Bottom Out) وتتحكم في نظام التعليق عند الانضغاط بسرعات عالية. تتضمن هذه الترقية صمام ICON CDE لمن يرغب في طريقة سهلة لضبط القيادة إلكترونياً من داخل السيارة. صمام تخميد الانضغاط الإلكتروني (CDEV) هو صمام يُتحكم به إلكترونياً يعاير تدفق الزيت لتنظيم مقدار قوة التخميد التي يولدها المساعد عند انضغاطه.
يمكن لهذا الصمام متغير الضبط بلا حدود أن يستجيب في أقل من 40ms، ولديه القدرة على إجراء تعديلات فائقة الدقة لتناسب التضاريس المختلفة. كما أن الدوائر الهيدروليكية لصمام CDEV مصممة خصيصاً لكل تطبيق لتوفير أعلى دقة وأوسع نطاق ديناميكي ممكن لكل سيارة على حدة.
يعمل النظام بتقنية ICON Intelligent Control وتطبيق ICON الخاص للهاتف المحمول، ويستخدم البيانات الواردة من حساس قوة التسارع (G-force) والجيروسكوب المدمجين لإجراء حسابات تعتمد على خوارزميات وإعدادات يحددها المستخدم، للتنبؤ بطبيعة التضاريس وضبط إعدادات المساعد عبر CDEV وفقاً لذلك.

ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are designed and built to give your vehicle outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street. These shocks are configured specifically for each application in both length and damping tune. Like all ICON'S Shock Absorbers, V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable.
For piggyback and specific remote reservoir applications, ICON'S unique use of a 6061 billet aluminum manifold a few inches below the top cap of the shock creates an internal Bump Zone that when used creates an additional 20% of damping force. This additional force helps prevent harsh bottom outs and controls the suspension when compressing at high velocity.
The ICON CDE Valve upgrade is included for those desiring an easy way to tune the ride electronically from inside the vehicle. Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) is an electronically controlled valve that meters the flow of oil to regulate the amount of damping force that is created by the shock when compressed.
This infinitely variable valve can react in less than 40ms and has the ability to make extremely precise adjustments for varying terrain. CDEV’s hydraulic circuits are also custom tailored per application to create the highest resolution and dynamic range allowable for each specific vehicle.
Powered by ICON Intelligent Control and proprietary ICON mobile app, the system uses information from the onboard G-force sensor and Gyroscope to perform calculations based on algorithms and user-defined settings to predict terrain and adjust shock settings via the CDEV accordingly.
