صُممت أنظمة التعليق من ICON Vehicle Dynamics لـ Ford Ranger 2019-2021 لتحسين جودة القيادة بشكل كبير على الطرق المعبدة وخارجها. ينصبّ التركيز الأساسي لمهندسي ICON على زيادة مدى حركة العجلات وقدرة التخميد، وهو ما ينعكس على تحكم استثنائي بالمركبة وجودة قيادة عالية على الطرق المعبدة وخارجها.
ومع وضع مدى حركة العجلات وجودة القيادة في الاعتبار، درس مهندسو ICON كل مكون من مكونات نظام تعليق منصة Ranger الجديدة وعالجوا كل جانب يمكن فيه استخلاص أداء إضافي.
يتضمن نظام Stage 4 (Billet) مساعدات كويل أوفر من فئة 2.5 Series مضبوطة خصيصاً للمركبة وبمدى حركة ممتد، ومزودة بخزانات خارجية (Remote Reservoir) لتوفير خصائص تبريد استثنائية، مع سوست (Coil Springs) مصممة من قِبل ICON لإحساس قيادة متفوق على امتداد مدى الحركة. كما أن ارتفاع هذه الكويل أوفرات قابل للتعديل من 0-3.5”، مما يتيح استخدام تركيبات جنوط وإطارات أكبر وأكثر شراسة.
صُمم طقم المقصات العلوية (Control Arm) من ألمنيوم بيليت (Billet) من ICON المرفق لتحسين الأداء العام لنظام التعليق من خلال تصحيح هندسة الواجهة الأمامية، وزيادة مدى ضبط الكامبر (Camber) والكاستر (Caster) على المركبة، وتحسين الخلوص بين مكونات نظام التعليق.

ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2019-2021 Ford Ranger suspension systems are designed to dramatically increase the on and off-road ride quality. ICON engineers’ primary focus is to increase wheel travel and damping ability, which translates into outstanding vehicle control and ride quality both on and off-road.
With wheel travel and ride quality in mind, ICON engineers researched each component of the new Ranger platform’s suspension and addressed any areas where performance could be extracted.
The Stage 4 (Billet) system includes vehicle-specific tuned, extended travel 2.5 Series coilover shocks featuring remote reservoirs for exceptional cooling properties and ICON-engineered coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” through the range of travel.
These coilovers are also height adjustable from 0-3.5” allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. The included ICON billet aluminum upper control arm kit is designed to improve the overall suspension performance with corrected front-end geometry, increased on-vehicle camber and caster adjustment, and improved suspension component clearance.
Additionally, replacing the OE ball joint with the ICON Delta Joint allows for full bump and extended droop travel of the front suspension while eliminating bind.
ICON 2.5 Aluminum Series piggyback reservoir rear shocks utilize a vehicle-specific valving that balances the performance of the truck from front to rear while the included foam bump stop kit increases rear end compliance..
The ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2019-2021 Ford Ranger Stage 4 suspension system is an excellent choice for those drivers looking to enhance the capabilities of their pickup on the road as well as in the dirt.
This system features billet aluminum upper control arms with ICON's patented Delta Joint. The Delta Joint is a heavy-duty high angle ball joint that combines the durability of a ball joint with the performance characteristics of a traditional uniball.
While the industry standard uniball does a great job of allowing the control arms of a vehicle to articulate with little bind, they do have an inherent weakness that leaves more to be desired when used in a daily driven application - exposure to the elements.
The Delta Joint features a zinc plated housing providing the first layer of corrosion resistance, while a tough grease seal keeps potentially harmful elements out of the inner workings of the joint. Metal on metal construction and a greaseable design increase the longevity of the Delta Joint while at the same time allowing for noise-free operation.
