صُممت أنظمة تعليق ICON Vehicle Dynamics لـ Ford Ranger 2020-2023 لتحسين جودة القيادة على الطرق الممهدة وخارجها بشكل كبير. ينصبّ تركيز مهندسي ICON بالدرجة الأولى على زيادة مدى حركة العجلات وقدرة التخميد، وهو ما ينعكس في تحكم استثنائي بالمركبة وجودة قيادة عالية على الطرق الممهدة وخارجها.
ومع وضع مدى حركة العجلات وجودة القيادة في الاعتبار، درس مهندسو ICON كل مكوّن من مكونات نظام التعليق في منصة Ranger الجديدة وعالجوا كل جانب يمكن فيه استخلاص أداء أفضل.
يتضمن نظام Stage 8 (Billet) مساعدات كويل أوفر 2.5 Series CDCV معايرة خصيصاً للمركبة وذات مدى حركة ممتد، تتميز بخزانات منفصلة (Remote Reservoir) لخصائص تبريد استثنائية، مع سوست (Coil Springs) مصممة هندسياً من ICON لإحساس أفضل بالمركبة طوال مدى الحركة. كما أن هذه الكويل أوفر قابلة لتعديل الارتفاع من 0-3.5”، مما يتيح استخدام تركيبات جنوط وإطارات أكبر وأكثر جرأة.
يحسّن طقم المقصات العلوية (Upper Control Arm) من ألمنيوم بيليت (Billet) من ICON الأداء العام لنظام التعليق من خلال تصحيح هندسة الواجهة الأمامية، وزيادة نطاق ضبط الكامبر والكاستر على المركبة، وتحسين الخلوص بين مكونات نظام التعليق.
يتيح استبدال كرة المقص (Ball Joint) الأصلية (OE) بوصلة ICON Delta Joint مدى حركة كاملاً عند الانضغاط (Bump) وامتداداً أكبر عند الهبوط (Droop) لنظام التعليق الأمامي مع التخلص من الانحشار (Bind).
تستخدم مساعدات ICON CDCV الخلفية 2.5 Aluminum Series بخزان ملحق (Piggyback Reservoir) معايرة صمامات (Valving) مخصصة للمركبة توازن أداء الشاحنة من الأمام إلى الخلف، بينما يزيد طقم مصدات الارتداد (Bump Stop) الإسفنجية المرفق من مرونة الجزء الخلفي.
ولتحسين التوازن بين الأمام والخلف وزيادة مرونة الشاحنة، تم تخفيض معدل صلابة السوست الخلفية في حزم الريش Multi Rate Leaf Packs مقارنةً بالمواصفات الأصلية. وقد صُممت حزمة الريش Multi Rate Leaf Pack مع ريشة إضافية يمكن استبدالها أو إضافتها إلى الحزمة للحصول على معدل صلابة إضافي يتحمل المركبات "المجهزة" بتجهيزات إضافية.

يتميز Delta Joint بغلاف مطلي بالزنك يوفر الطبقة الأولى من مقاومة التآكل، بينما يمنع مانع تسريب الشحم المتين العناصر الضارة من الوصول إلى الأجزاء الداخلية للمفصل. ويزيد البناء المعدني على المعدني والتصميم القابل للتشحيم من عمر Delta Joint، مع ضمان تشغيل خالٍ من الضوضاء في الوقت نفسه.

20-23 FORD RANGER 0-3.5" STAGE 8 SUSPENSION SYSTEM W BILLET UCA STEEL KNUCKLE
ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2020-2023 Ford Ranger suspension systems are designed to dramatically increase the on and off-road ride quality. ICON engineers’ primary focus is to increase wheel travel and damping ability, which translates into outstanding vehicle control and ride quality both on and off-road.
With wheel travel and ride quality in mind, ICON engineers researched each component of the new Ranger platform’s suspension and addressed any areas where performance could be extracted.
The Stage 8 (Billet) system includes vehicle-specific tuned, extended travel CDCV 2.5 Series coilover shocks featuring remote reservoirs for exceptional cooling properties and ICON-engineered coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” through the range of travel.
These coilovers are also height adjustable from 0-3.5” allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. The ICON billet aluminum upper control arm kit improves the overall suspension performance with corrected front-end geometry, increased on-vehicle camber and caster adjustment, and improved suspension component clearance.
Replacing the OE ball joint with the ICON Delta Joint allows for full bump and extended droop travel of the front suspension while eliminating bind. ICON CDCV 2.5 Aluminum Series piggyback reservoir rear shocks utilize a vehicle-specific valving that balances the performance of the truck from front to rear while the included foam bump stop kit increases rear end compliance.
To improve the front-to-rear balance and increase the compliance of the truck, the rear spring rate of the Multi Rate Leaf Packs has been lowered compared to stock. The Multi Rate Leaf Pack was designed with an additional leaf that can be exchanged or added to the pack yielding additional spring rate that will handle more "outfitted" vehicles.

This system features billet aluminum upper control arms with ICON's patented Delta Joint. The Delta Joint is a heavy-duty high angle ball joint that combines the durability of a ball joint with the performance characteristics of a traditional uniball.
While the industry standard uniball does a great job of allowing the control arms of a vehicle to articulate with little bind, they do have an inherent weakness that leaves more to be desired when used in a daily driven application - exposure to the elements.
The Delta Joint features a zinc plated housing providing the first layer of corrosion resistance, while a tough grease seal keeps potentially harmful elements out of the inner workings of the joint. Metal on metal construction and a greaseable design increase the longevity of the Delta Joint while at the same time allowing for noise-free operation.
What makes the Delta Joint unique is that it brings the best of both worlds to ICON upper control arms with features that make it more robust than a uniball, and at the same time capable of greater angularity than a typical ball joint.
