لضمان التوافق، لم تعد ICON تقدم المقصات العلوية لسيارات GM 2500HD/3500HD كمكونات منفردة، إذ لا يمكن شراء المقصات العلوية إلا مع مساعدات ICON كنظام متكامل. صُممت مساعدات ICON المخصصة للسيارة (Vehicle Specific - V.S.) من فئة 2.5 Aluminum Series المرفقة وصُنعت لتمنح سيارتك أداءً متميزاً على الطرق الوعرة وقيادة سلسة في الشوارع.
وتُضبط هذه المساعدات خصيصاً لكل تطبيق من حيث الطول وضبط التخميد. وكما هو الحال مع جميع مساعدات ICON، فإن مساعدات V.S. 2.5 Series قابلة لإعادة البناء بنسبة 100% وقابلة لإعادة ضبط الصمامات بنسبة 100%.
وفي تطبيقات الخزان الملحق (Piggyback) وبعض تطبيقات الخزان المنفصل (Remote Reservoir)، يُنشئ الاستخدام الفريد من ICON لمشعب (Manifold) من ألمنيوم بيليت 6061 على بعد بضع بوصات أسفل الغطاء العلوي للمساعد منطقةَ ارتطام داخلية (Bump Zone) تولّد عند تفعيلها قوة تخميد إضافية بنسبة 20%.
وتساعد هذه القوة الإضافية على منع الارتطام العنيف بنهاية المشوار وتتحكم في التعليق عند الانضغاط بسرعات عالية. وتضمن الخزانات المنفصلة أداءً مثالياً من خلال إطالة مدة التخميد الثابت بغض النظر عن الظروف، مع إبقاء المساعدات عند درجة حرارة تشغيل أبرد أثناء الاستخدام الشاق.
وصمام ICON CDC هو صمام قابل للتعديل من الخارج يقيّد تدفق الزيت إلى الخزان، مما يوفر 10 مستويات من نطاقات قوة تخميد الانضغاط.
تتميز هذه المقصات العلوية بوصلة Delta Joint الحاصلة على براءة اختراع من ICON. وDelta Joint هي كرة مقص (Ball Joint) شديدة التحمل بزاوية حركة عالية تجمع بين متانة كرة المقص وخصائص أداء Uniball التقليدي.
ورغم أن Uniball المعتمد في الصناعة يؤدي عملاً ممتازاً في السماح لمقصات السيارة بالحركة المفصلية بأقل قدر من التعشيق، إلا أن فيه نقطة ضعف متأصلة تجعله دون المطلوب عند الاستخدام اليومي، وهي تعرّضه للعوامل الجوية. تتميز Delta Joint بمبيت مطلي بالزنك يوفر الطبقة الأولى من مقاومة التآكل، بينما يمنع مانع تسريب شحم متين وصول العناصر الضارة إلى الأجزاء الداخلية للوصلة.
ويزيد البناء المعدني على المعدني والتصميم القابل للتشحيم من عمر Delta Joint، مع ضمان تشغيل خالٍ من الضوضاء في الوقت ذاته. وما يجعل Delta Joint فريدة هو أنها تجمع أفضل ما في العالمين لمقصات ICON العلوية، بمزايا تجعلها أمتن من Uniball، وفي الوقت ذاته قادرة على زوايا حركة أكبر من كرة المقص التقليدية.
ارتقِ بأداء شاحنة GM HD موديل 2020-2026 إلى مستويات جديدة مع طقم المقصات العلوية من ألمنيوم بيليت (Billet) Delta Joint من ICON Vehicle Dynamics. تُصنع هذه المقصات من ألمنيوم بيليت 6061 مشغول بتقنية CNC، لتجمع بين الوزن الخفيف والمتانة العالية.
توفر رؤوس الأذرع (Rod End) من نوع FK Rod End مقاس 3/4” أداءً دقيقاً وسلساً على كامل مدى الحركة، مع إتاحة ضبط إضافي لزاويتي الكامبر (Camber) والكاستر (Caster) للحصول على مواصفات ضبط زوايا مثالية وثبات في القيادة يبعث على الثقة.
ومن أبرز مزايا المقصات العلوية من ICON زيادة مشوار العجلات عند استخدامها مع مساعدات 2.5 Series من ICON، مما ينعكس على أداء وراحة قيادة أفضل لسيارة GM HD 2020-2026.
ملاحظة فنية: قد يتسبب مشوار النزول الإضافي الذي يوفره نظام تعليق ICON في مشاكل تلامس بين عمود التوازن وواقي الرذاذ الأصلي عند اقتراب التعليق من التمدد الكامل. يُنصح بطقم واقي الرذاذ من ICON Vehicle Dynamics لـ GM HD 2020 وما بعده، رقم القطعة 77202.

To ensure compatibility, ICON is no longer offering GM 2500HD/3500HD upper control arms as individual components. Upper control arms can only be purchased in unison with ICON shock absorbers as a complete system.
The included ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are designed and built to give your vehicle outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street. These shocks are configured specifically for each application in both length and damping tune. Like all of ICON's Shock Absorbers, the V.S. 2.5 Series shocks are 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable.
For piggyback and specific remote reservoir applications, ICON'S unique use of a 6061-billet aluminum manifold a few inches below the top cap of the shock creates an internal Bump Zone that when used creates an additional 20% of damping force. This additional force helps prevent harsh bottom outs and controls the suspension when compressing at high velocity.
Remote reservoirs ensure optimum performance by increasing the duration of consistent damping regardless of situation, keeping the shocks at a cooler operating temperature during heavy use. The ICON CDC Valve is an externally adjustable valve that restricts oil flow into the reservoir which creates 10 levels of compression damping force ranges.
These upper control arms feature ICON's patented Delta Joint. The Delta Joint is a heavy-duty high angle ball joint that combines the durability of a ball joint with the performance characteristics of a traditional uniball.
While the industry standard uniball does a great job of allowing the control arms of a vehicle to articulate with little bind, they do have an inherent weakness that leaves more to be desired when used in a daily driven application - exposure to the elements.
The Delta Joint features a zinc plated housing providing the first layer of corrosion resistance, while a tough grease seal keeps potentially harmful elements out of the inner workings of the joint. Metal on metal construction and a greaseable design increase the longevity of the Delta Joint while at the same time allowing for noise-free operation.
What makes the Delta Joint unique is that it brings the best of both worlds to ICON upper control arms with features that make it more robust than a uniball, and at the same time capable of greater angularity than a typical ball joint.

FK Rod End 3/4” heim joints provide precise and smooth function throughout the range of travel while also allowing for additional camber and caster adjustment for optimal alignment specifications and confidence inspiring handling.

TECH NOTE: The additional down travel provided by an ICON Suspension System can cause clearance issues between the sway bar and the stock splash guard as the suspension approaches full extension. ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2020-UP GM HD Splash Guard Kit, part number 77202 recommended.
