يمكن تركيب سوست الكويل البديلة هذه على تطبيقات معينة من كويل أوفرات ICON لتعويض الوزن الإضافي المضاف إلى مقدمة السيارة. وفي هذه التطبيقات، يتيح معدل السوستة الأعلى الوصول إلى ارتفاعات أعلى دون ضبط الشد المسبق للسوستة بما يتجاوز الحد الأقصى المحدد من ICON، وهو ما يؤدي إلى انضغاط لفات السوستة حتى التلامس (Coil Bind).

These replacemnt coil springs can be installed onto certain ICON coilover applications to compensate for heavier weight added to the front end of the vehicle. On these applications the increased spring rate will allow for taller ride heights without adjusting coil preload beyond ICON's maximum setting, resulting in coil bind.
