بغض النظر عن التطبيق، تحل وصلة مدخل التيربو من Dinan محل وصلة المدخل الأصلية البلاستيكية الضعيفة والمعرضة للأعطال بأخرى أكثر متانة من ألياف الكربون. تُستخدم وصلات مشغولة بتقنية CNC لضمان التركيب الصحيح وضمان تركيبها كبديل مباشر لوصلة المدخل الأصلية OEM. وبعيداً عن المادة والتركيب، هناك التحسينات على خصائص العنصر الأساسي في النظام وهو الأنبوب نفسه.
فقد تضمنت وصلة مدخل التيربو الأصلية ميزات إضافية (متعددة في بعض الحالات) تسبب قيوداً على التدفق واضطراباً مع تقليل أصوات التيربو أيضاً. وكلها غير مرغوبة لكن يسهل إصلاحها بإزالة الرزونيترات المختلفة وتوسيع المسار (وتحسينه) لتدفق أكثر انتظاماً.
والنتيجة وصلة مدخل لا توفر هواءً أكثر وتتيح للتيربو العمل بكفاءة أكبر (بجهد أقل) فحسب، بل توفر أيضاً التضخيم المرغوب غالباً لصوت سحب التيربو.
تخدم أنابيب مدخل التيربو غرضين مختلفين ومتمايزين تمامًا. فمن ناحية، يعزز تحسين أنبوب مدخل التيربو كفاءة التيربو واستجابته عبر السماح له بسحب مزيد من الهواء من خلال مسار تدفق أكبر حجمًا وخالٍ من العوائق. ومن ناحية أخرى، هناك فائدة حسية أكثر قد يرى البعض أنها بنفس أهمية تحسين الكفاءة/التدفق أو حتى أهم منه، ألا وهي زيادة الصوت. وبغض النظر عن الغرض المفضل، ستحقق Dinan الغرضين معًا.

Regardless of application, a Dinan turbo inlet replaces the weak, and failure prone, plastic factory inlet with a more robust carbon fiber one. CNC machined fittings are utilized to ensure proper fitment and guarantee installation as a direct replacement to the OEM inlet.
Beyond material and fitment however are the improvements to the characteristics of the primary element in the system, the pipe itself. The stock turbo inlet has incorporated additional features (multiple in some cases) that introduce flow restrictions and turbulence while also reducing turbo noises.
All of which are unwanted but easily rectified by removing the various resonators and enlarging (and optimizing) the path for a more uniform flow. The result is an inlet that delivers not only more air and allows the turbo to be more efficient (work less) but also provides the oft desired amplification to the turbo induction soundtrack.
Turbo inlet pipes serve two very distinct, and differing, purposes. On one hand the optimization of a turbo inlet pipe will encourage better turbo efficiency and responsiveness by allowing the turbo to ingest more air by way of an unobstructed and larger volume flow path.
On the other, you have a more visceral benefit that some may argue is equally, or even more, important than that of efficiency/flow optimization --- increased sound. No matter which of the distinct purposes is favored, Dinan will deliver on both.
X3/X4 M40i FITMENT: D760-0062 is ONLY compatible with the 2020-2025 model years. Pre-LCI (2018-2019) models utilized a different configuration which affects fitment of the turbo inlet. For LCI X3/X4 M40i owners that wish to utilize the Dinan Turbo Inlet (D760-0062) for maximum sound, the associated Inlet Fit Kit (D763-0101) is REQUIRED.
The Dinan Turbo Inlet will NOT mate to the Dinan, or factory, intake system without the fit kit.
